On December 5, 2022, within the framework of the work carried out by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to promote economic diplomacy, a meeting was held between the representatives of Pakistani and Chinese companies operating in Pakistan in the field of mining, energy, as well as the production of construction materials, with the President of JSC "Kyrgyzindustry" H.E. Mr. Zharasul Aburaimov, with the participation of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail topical issues of interaction in the field of industrial cooperation, with particular emphasis on the need to consolidate efforts in terms of organizing joint ventures, joint development of mineral deposits, as well as expanding the articles of mutual export-import of industrial products.

The representatives of the Pakistani side were provided with detailed information about the opportunities available in Kyrgyzstan for investing in the industrial sector. Also the Kyrgyz side expressed its readiness to provide the necessary assistance in establishing relationships.

The participants of the meeting were unanimous in their opinion that between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan there is a significant potential for the development of economic cooperation, the promotion of which requires coordinated work between all interested parties.

In this regard, the parties agreed on further maintaining contacts in order to deepen industrial cooperation between the two countries.
