On May 4, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Mr. Akif Saeed.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in terms of developing stock markets and supporting business.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in establishing cooperation with the stock exchanges of Pakistan, which will serve as a good opportunity to increase bilateral trade and promote joint projects.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to consider the possibility of signing documents on cooperation between the competent authorities in the field of financial markets.
