On May 4, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Drug Regulation Authority of Pakistan Mr. Asim Rauf.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the situation on the global drug market. They noted the need to combine efforts to ensure pharmaceutical safety.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev emphasized the interest of the Kyrgyz side in the localization of pharmaceutical production in Kyrgyzstan.

The parties agreed upon conducting joint work aimed at expanding the mutual export-import of various types of pharmaceutical products.
