On May 4, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for sports and tourism in the rank of Federal Minister H.E. Mr. Awn Chaudhry.

During the talks, the parties touched upon the most actual issues on the agenda of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism. They were unanimous in the opinion that the above-mentioned directions are the key to strengthening ties among the nations.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev called on the Pakistani side to actively cooperate in holding bilateral and regional sports events. He noted the need to increase the mutual flow of tourists, taking into account the significant potential of both Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in this direction.
