On May 10, 2023, at the International University “Karakorum” in the city of Gilgit, as part of the Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan and the 95th anniversary of the People’s Writer of Kyrgyzstan Ch.T. Aitmatov, which was attended by representatives of scientific and business circles, more than 300 Pakistani students, ethnic Kyrgyz people living in Pakistan, as well as professors, historians, archeologists and ethnographers of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, manaschi, artists, representatives of business and tourism sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic.

A concert was organized for the guests and participants of the event with the participation of manaschy, dastanchy and komuz players.

During the visit, scientists of the Kyrgyz Republic conducted a study of the history and life of ethnic Kyrgyz people (direct descendants of Zhanybek Kazy living in the village of Immit, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan).
