On May 16, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Chairman of the “ISE Tower REIT Management Company Limited” (formerly the Islamabad Stock Exchange) Mr. Zahid Latif Khan.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects for interaction between financial institutions and, in particular, the stock exchanges of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev noted the importance of establishing mechanisms for the exchange of experience and advanced solutions for regulating the securities market. Emphasized that further joint work will contribute to raising the level of awareness of the business structures of the two countries about economic opportunities.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize a meeting between the stock exchanges of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the videoconference format in the near future to determine the guidelines for further cooperation.
