On May 17, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Coordinator of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for Commerce and Industry Mr. Rana Ihsan Afzal Khan.

During the meeting, a substantive exchange of views took place on topical issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral cooperation, including the preparation of upcoming bilateral visits at various levels, holding a regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation in this year, as well as deepening cooperation in trade-economic sphere.

In the context of the development of bilateral trade, the parties stressed the importance of establishing regular air connection and using efficient land trade routes.

Mr. R.I.A.Khan expressed his readiness to provide necessary assistance for the successful implementation of appointed plans and initiatives, including the preparation of bilateral documents for signing.
