On June 3-4, 2023, the 6th annual National Mas-Wrestling Championship was held in Gujranwala under the auspices of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The event was organized by the Mas-Wrestling Federation of Pakistan in partnership with the WAPDA Town Society and business circles of the Gujranwala city. Among the guests of the event were the Commissioner of the city of Gujranwala Mr. N.Kh.Shirazi, regional politicians and businessmen.

In his speech, Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev noted the importance of such events for strengthening the relationship between friendly countries. He emphasized the importance of promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle among young people.

More than 350 athletes from 22 men's and women's teams from all over the country, competing in different weight categories, took part in the sports competition. At the result of the event, the winners received awards and valuable prizes.
