On September 6, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Dr. Kazim Niaz.

The parties touched upon the current state and prospects of trade and investment cooperation between the countries. In particular, agreed to put all efforts in order to hold in the nearest future the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic, Scientific-Technical Cooperation, as well as a meetings between the business-circles of two countries “on its sidelines”.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev, noting the positive trend in terms of developing business contacts and increasing the volume of mutual trade between the countries, stressed the importance of active interaction within the framework of trade and economic cooperation mechanisms.
