On September 25, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the newly appointed Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Rahim Hayat Qureshi.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev congratulated R.H.Qureshi with the appointment and expressed wishes for further success and productive activities.

The parties exchanged views on current issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani bilateral cooperation, including the preparation of upcoming bilateral visits at various levels, holding of the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistan Intergovernmental Commission on trade-economic and scientific-technical cooperation this year, as well as deepening cooperation in trade, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Agreed to consider the possibilty of holding the next political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the near future.
