On October 2, 2023, in Islamabad, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ulanbek Totuiaev with the Senior Vice-President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Faad Waheed.

The parties exchanged views on promising areas for the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan.

F.Waheed, noting the high level of interest of Pakistani business in interaction with Kyrgyzstan, announced plans to organize a visit of the delegation of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry to Bishkek during October 2023.

Ambassador U.Totuiaev expressed his readiness to provide all possible assistance in establishing productive relationships between the business circles of the parties in order to intensify bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
