On November 22, 2019, a meeting was held of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Erik Beishembiev with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Asad Qaiser.

         During conversation, the parties discussed issues of inter-parliamentary cooperation, of the upcoming official visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan Asad Qaiser to Kyrgyzstan, development of trade and economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

Ambassador E.Beishembiev noted considerable potential of Kyrgyz-Pakistani parliamentary cooperation, taking account that both countries are parliamentary republics, informed about investment climate and economic potential of Kyrgyzstan, suggested for Pakistani side more actively utilize transit and trade and economic opportunities of Kyrgyzstan for creating of joint ventures with the aim of producing and exporting goods to CA, EAEU and EU markets.
