On October 12, 2021, Almazbek Beishenaliev, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Serge Dal Busco, the President of the Council of State of Geneva.

Mr. Dal Busco welcomed the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan on his first visit to the Canton of Geneva and wished him a fruitful mission in Switzerland, and also expressed a wish to visit Kyrgyzstan. The President of the Cantonal Council of Geneva noted the democratic achievements of Kyrgyzstan in the region and the high level of education in the country.

In turn, Ambassador Beishenaliev acquainted the interlocutor with the internal political situation in the Kyrgyz Republic, with the current challenges facing the country, investment opportunities, proposed to establish cooperation with regions and cities of Kyrgyzstan in the field of air pollution control, digitalization, in various sectors of the tourism. In addition, Mr. Beishenaliev invited the leadership of the Canton of Geneva and Swiss businessmen to visit Kyrgyzstan in order to establish contacts in specific areas.
