On January 10, 2024, Ambassador Omar Sultanov took part in the traditional ceremony of presenting New Year’s greetings to the newly appointed President of the Swiss Confederation H.E. Ms.Viola Amherd.

The ceremony took place at the Federal Palace in Bern. During the event, the President of Switzerland and the Head of the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sports addressed the heads of diplomatic missions and outlined the main foreign policy priorities of Switzerland for 2024.
