On July 22, 341 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, including 48 citizens from the USA, Canada and Brazil returned to Kyrgyzstan on a special flight of Turkish Airlines.
Since March 2020, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan to the USA and Canada has been supporting the relevant work with the citizens of Kyrgyzstan residing in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Mexico on their return to their homeland due to the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the world. In particular, lists of citizens are drawn up, on the basis of which special flights from transit countries are organized.
Information about special flights is provided by the Embassy to the attention of every citizen of Kyrgyzstan, who previously signed up for the list of the Embassy for evacuation, by phone and e-mail.
On July 15, 2020, 39 our citizens from the United States and Canada returned to Kyrgyzstan via a similar route.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United States and Canada will continue relevant work aimed at evacuating citizens intending to return to Kyrgyzstan in coordination with the appropriate authorities of Kyrgyzstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Turkey and the General Consulates of Kyrgyzstan in Istanbul and Dubai.
