On May 23, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov met with the Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) Dovran Hudayberdiyev.

During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects for expanding the Kyrgyz-Turkmen trade and economic cooperation, using the existing potential, and measures to increase the pace and volume of bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere.

The Ambassador A.Madmarov focused the interlocutor's attention on the agreements of the parties on joint investment projects and the need for their practical implementation, as well as on the planned business mission to Turkmenistan in the near future for Kyrgyz entrepreneurs representing different industries.

In turn, D. Hudayberdiyev informed the Ambassador about the activities of the Union and current projects implemented by the entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. At the same time, noting with satisfaction the positive dynamics of cooperation with entrepreneurs of Kyrgyzstan, the head of the UIET expressed readiness for further expansion of contacts between the business circles of the two countries and the intention to fully contribute to this.

The parties reaffirming their intention to promote cooperation in the trade and economic spheres, expressed their readiness to maintain regular contacts.
