On February 29, 2024, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan Azizbek Madmarov met with the Chairman of the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan Batyr Volsakhatov.

During the meeting, the parties expressed satisfaction with the positive dynamics of Kyrgyz-Turkmen relations and discussed issues of further expansion of trade and economic cooperation.

Ambassador Azizbek Madmarov noted the interest of the Kyrgyz side in intensifying bilateral cooperation to increase trade turnover and build business ties.

In turn, Batyr Volsakhatov, reaffirming readiness to intensify joint work, presented information on the activities of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan and called for the participation of Kyrgyz entrepreneurs in exchange trading.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen trade and economic cooperation and maintain regular contacts.
