On December 19, 2021, Mr. Omar Sultanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Swiss Confederation, presented copies of his credentials to Ms. Beatrice Schaer, Head of Protocol of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland.

Ambassador Beatrice Shaer congratulated Mr. Omar Sultanov on the appointment and wished him success in his upcoming activities for the benefit of Kyrgyz-Swiss relations, and also explained the upcoming ceremony of presenting credentials to the President-elect of the Swiss Confederation Mr. Alain Berset.

Mr. Omar Sultanov also held meeting with Ambassador Johannes Matyassy, Deputy State Secretary and Director of the Consular Directorate of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and discussed prospects for further development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland.
