In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on the declaration of May 1-2, 2021 as days of national mourning in the Kyrgyz Republic, today on May 1, 2021, the state flag was lowered by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia. On April 29-30, the prayer was read in memory of civilians and servicemen who died during the armed conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border in the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan.

Also, the staff of the Embassy planted Kyrgyz walnut seedlings in memory of the victims near the International Malay Islamic University.
