On July 7, 2020 at the National Palace of Malaysia was held the ceremony of presentation of the Letter of credence by the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia A. Beknazarov to the King of Malaysia Abdulla II.

During the presentation, the King of Malaysia thanked A. Beknazarov for presenting his credentials in Malay language, adding that he had previously visited Kyrgyzstan 7 years ago with a 5 day visit and responded positively to Kyrgyz national cuisine, especially horse meat. In its turn, A.Beknazarov invited the King to visit Kyrgyzstan again. An exchange of views on enhancing bilateral cooperation also took place.

In addition, the Queen of Malaysia expressed interest to the national costume of Ambassador’s wife and admired the Kyrgyz yurt.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and other officials.
