On June 20, 2020, the Embassy held a meeting with the invitation of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Diaspora of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia.

During the event, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia
A. Beknazarov gave relevant advice and answers on the work being done to organize and develop a route for the return of citizens remaining in Malaysia in connection with the suspension of international air traffic due to the global coronavirus pandemic COVID-19.

In addition, material assistance was provided by the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to Kyrgyz citizens who were in Malaysia and found themselves in difficult situations. Also, were held consultations with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on consular issues.

At the same time, the Embassy maintains constant contact with citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and provides assistance within its competence. In particular, on issues of staying in Malaysia and on the necessity and importance of compliance with the laws of the host country.
