On August 17, 2023, the official ceremony of presenting the credentials of Altynbek Zhumaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, took place at the «Istana Negara» Royal Palace.

After the presentation of his credentials, the King of Malaysia, Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Bilah Shah organized a reception in honor of the newly arrived Ambassadors. The King, having welcomed Altynbek Zhumaev, expressed his intention to expand cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic in various areas, including in the areas of trade, investment, tourism and education.

Ambassador A.Zhumaev, for his part, conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Sadyr Zhaparov to the King and people of Malaysia, and also expressed his readiness to make efforts to strengthen Kyrgyz-Malaysian relations at the highest level.
