On December 18, 2023, a meeting took place between the Charge d'Affaires of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia T.Zhumaliev and the head of the Malaysian company “ORM SDN. BHD” Ir Lee.

During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation in the field of agriculture were discussed, in particular the possibility of exporting honey and fresh fruits from the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, as well as their cultivation in Kyrgyzstan for the purpose of further import to Malaysia. Information was presented on the export potential of agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan, including the above products, as well as the possibilities of investing in the economy of Kyrgyzstan through the opening of joint ventures in the territory of free economic zones of Kyrgyzstan.

Ir Lee expressed his readiness to visit Kyrgyzstan in April-May 2024 in order to study the issues of importing honey and fresh fruits from Kyrgyzstan, as well as opening a joint venture in the FEZ.
