On March 6, 2024, Anvar Anarbaev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, met with Dr. Shazelina Zainul Abidin, Undersecretary of South and Central Asia Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia. During the meeting, a wide range of current topics of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres were discussed. 

Exchange of views was also held on the prospects for further interaction in promoting topical aspects of bilateral cooperation and draft agreements under consideration by the parties, as well as on the organization of mutual visits at the highest and high levels.
