"Global Business Network 2021: Development of Global Opportunities" online conference was held

On 7-8 December 2021, a conference "Global Business Network 2021: Development of Global Opportunities" was held in an online format between Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia and Turkey, in which employees of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Malaysia took part together with the Sixth Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic organized by the Malaysian company HQC Commerce Sdn Bhd.

The main purpose of the conference was to familiarize and exchange information on the economic potential of the three countries, as well as to establish contacts for further cooperation.

21 companies from Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia and Turkey participated in the above videoconference in six different sectors: halal industry, tourism, food industry, trade, education, and agriculture.

During the conference, participants provided detailed information on the investment climate and the capabilities of each country. Each side showed video clips and presentations separately about each industry. Participants also exchanged views on possible prospects for cooperation in the areas presented.

The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Malaysia, A. Beknazarov, made a welcoming statement on Kyrgyzstan and highlighted the country’s priority sectors for investment.

The Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ch. Adamkulova, made a separate presentation on the educational system in the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed the interest of the Kyrgyz side in inviting students from Malaysia to Kyrgyz universities.

Representatives of the Halal Industry Development Centre of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Department of Tourism and Agro-Industrial Development Association of Kyrgyzstan also took part in the event.

At the end of the conference, the participants expressed their interest in the further development of cooperation. The video conference served as a good platform for the parties to exchange information on the available opportunities in the respective countries for possible further cooperation.
